 Price Increase Coming January 1, 2024

Due to unprecedented inflation since November of 2020, we have been forced by our anilox roller supplier to have a price increase.  In addition, we have had to cease doing business with one of our anilox suppliers due to quality concerns.   This affects our standard 4-inch Spring Loaded Hand Proofers and anything else related to anilox rollers.  If and when material costs go back down, you can expect prices to go down as well.

We Now Accept Credit Cards

We are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to pay with a Credit Card.  We accept VISA, Master Card,  Discover, and American Express.  Expect an additional charge of 3.5% when using a credit card.

6-inch Spring Loaded Hand Proofer Temporarily Discontinued

It is with regret that we are unable to find suppliers to produce anilox and rubber rollers for our 6-inch hand proofers.  There is still a limited availability of anilox rollers.  If you currently use our 6-inch proofer and need anilox rollers, please reach out.  See our 6-inch Proofer page for more information.

Name and Address Change

As of January 2, 2012, Early Enterprises has relocated to Brevard, North Carolina and from this point will be known as Early Manufacturing, Inc.  Jud Early, Sr. will be retiring after 35 years as President of Early Enterprises.  Early Manufacturing will be operated by Jud Early, Jr., who is returning to the Hand Proofer business after 25 years of Management experience in other industries.  This will be a seamless transition for our customers who can expect continued service at the same level. We are happy to say that the change is complete, and orders were successfully processed and shipped out starting January 3.

 

Now Available- A Bearing Alternative

Our customers will recall a shortage problem that occurred in 2010 with the needle bearing used in the Rubber Roller Bearing Block. Due to military priority, the bearing normally used was in limited supply. As a means to alleviate the problem, we obtained, and have been testing with selected customers, a bronze bearing that is much lower in cost, and has proven to be very serviceable.  This bearing will be available as a repair part under the part number HP-RRBB.  We will continue to build all new hand proofers using the needle bearing, and after further feedback from customers may utilize this part to reduce the price of our hand proofers.  This part has been tested extensively with one of our largest customers, and they continue to place new orders for this item.

We are pleased to once again offer high quality ceramic coated laser engraved anilox rollers to meet your requirements,  These special order rollers can be made with up to 1200 line count and cell volume per your specifications.  Due to the custom nature of this product, they are not returnable for refund or credit.
